I first met Minami before entering elementary school. He was a small puppy sent to our house by my eldest aunt. The name 'Minami' was a mystery to me for a long time as a child. I do not remember why he had that name, but each time I called it, a smile would come to me naturally. There is not a single photograph left now. Yet in my memory, the time spent together with Minami’s face remains like a faint scene. Much has faded with time, but the warmth of that feeling still lingers quietly in a corner of my heart.
